ok ok... he recruited a couple decent guys. He just couldn't do anything with them. This team would have 2 losses already with TJ still here and you know that shite is true.
DAWG, WE LOST TO SOUTH ALABAMA LAST YEAR WITH TJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst coached basketball game I've ever been to. even worse than the Hornets/Wiz game Tuesday night, which was pretty bad if you watched
Posted on 12/14/12 at 12:53 am to Open Your Eyes
also it was a pretty down SEC with no team besides LSU finishing with better than 10 wins.

I really don't get this guy's Trent Johnson love. He was absolutely awful in game. His recruiting was mediocre at best... I don't get it. But everyone's entitled to an opinion I guess.

Why did Johnson have such great success with a team Brady failed so miserably with it got him fired?
I already answered that question you freaking moron
Brady was on his way out already, and you know it...
well actually you probably don't since you don't really know much about LSU ball

However, they did have top recruits coming in every year it seemed.
Yep, especially that loaded class from 2006 after the final 4 run. Oh wait...

Makes no sense. I cannot understand why people are satisfied with average basketball teams here!!!
Pete Maravich was the best college baller ever! and not to mention shaq, who everyone loves..
Drives me nuts when people say "oh, well its a football town, bla bla bla.." no, f that, basketball is the tits man!

Kentrell Gransbury was a huge recruit that year, but couldn't make the grades... Not Brady's fault. No more scholarships available. So try again

I think we were destined for another great year in 2003-2004 until Jaime went psycho and quit.

Actually, I didn't. But you can't even see who is responding to who here. Unless you're an alter which I assume you are considering you have been posting here for one month and know I sat on the front row 6 years ago.
You're right, my mistake on that. The part you quoted looked exactly like something I had said previously in the thread. I apologize.
And I've seen you post before about the current front row people and bragging about how much better they used to. Easy dots to connect...

would have lost to NW St and Seton Hall IMO and I have no doubt about that.
That just doesn't make sense considering Johnson beat similar teams multiple times last year. Hell he beat better teams multiple times last year.

don't forget last year we lost to Coastal Carolina and a pretty average Northwestern team. And were totally thrashed by Oregon.
All 3 on the road, or at lest away from home. Something this team has yet to do. And all 3 very arguable better than my team LSU has played this year.
Last year they beat Marquette, Mississippi St, Alabama and many other teams that are far better than any team played yet this year.

No doubt. Jaime had a bright future, but I always hated his attitude... His ft% killed us a lot of games too.
But yes, either this guy is an alter, or he just didn't follow LSU basketball

the student section just blows in general because no one goes to the games. we all used to go win or lose... unfortunately there were more losses than wins.

You can look at the way a game is going... I mean that NW St game, you knew it was going to be a high scoring affair and Trent's offense was 100% not suited for that. Look at us against Oregon. We just couldn't keep up.

Mississippi St, Alabama
they beat an average Miss St team who ended the season horribly and Alabama without 3 starters...

remember when he broke Paul Wolfert's jaw? And when he got suspended for throwing a bunch against UF

You can't lose to USA, I don't care who you beat... You cannot lose to freaking South Alabama!

He truly was the driver of the brady steamroller, even after the UAB catastrophe, even after the 15 pt blown lead against Ohio State with five minutes to go; even after his blown 21 pt lead against Villanova; and even after his overall mediocre body of work during his tenure. The conductor led the steamroller full speed ahead...
Here's to you, Tiger20. If you're anything, you're a loyal LSU basketball fan. I would be interested to see what he thinks of Jones. I recall him being a Dale fan.

Selective stat. 8 teams finished at or above .500 in conference that year compared to only 6 the year before.

It's not Trent love. I made my point earlier in the thread that its not necessary to belittle the previous staff to be excited about this years team, which multiple people agreed with. I've also stated he wasn't a good coach for LSU and that both parties are seemingly better off.
Posted on 12/14/12 at 1:17 am to Elleshoe
knocked out his teeth too, haha, forgot about that one! Don't remember the UF punches though
Posted on 12/14/12 at 1:17 am to Open Your Eyes
Well we both seem to like Jones better than the two previous staffs at least.

Says the guy arguing that John Brady was a great coach. Oh, and did I mention that Andrew Del Piero is an nba draft pick?

Actually you didn't. This goes back to that whole you being illiterate does not mean I'm confused thing we talked about earlier.

Wait, so you are saying Brady quit on the team, before they quit on him? I mean, I wouldn't doubt it. But how is that relevant here?
