My labs stay outside and it never bothers them. They have a house with hay all in it, one of them is hell bent in never getting in the house, have actually seen her with it in the 20s jump in her pool and break the ice splashing around then go lay down and go to sleep. They are made for cold and wet

If you are real worried a hanging light written the aluminum flashing clipped top the opening and a blanket in that igloo is money. They love that light
