Hard as heck to pick just one. Maybe one per decade I've been following the team....
60's - OK I was too young in the 60's but Cotton Nash's grandkids play football for my daughter's school.
70's - Kyle Macy (just over Jack Givens) - Purdue transfer provided the missing piece to bring UK's first NCAA title in 20 years.
80's - Kenny Walker (over Rex Champman) - even with the twin towers of Bowie and Turpin, Kenny brought an explosiveness that made Kentucky basketball fun again after some relatively ho-hum seasons
90's - Jamal Mashburn (over Derek Anderson, Jeff Sheppard et al) - teamed with the "Unforgettables" to bring UK basketball back to life and national relevance.
00's Tayshaun Prince (over ?) - great kid, great talent, and silenced the critics by proving he could succeed at the next level
10's Anthony Davis (over Wall, Cousins, et...) - one of the best ever to wear the UK uni. If he can get and stay healthy may go down as one of the best ever period.
In the shake-my-head-for-what-could've-been category - Dwight Anderson.
