hmm, i've never had a problem flipping with my ambassadeurs.. You're probly starting too high. Start and keep rod tip low, just above water for distance and accuracy. If that's you in the picture, your rod tip is way too high.. No control.
I can't squat and dump anymore due to knees, have to look for a horizontal, right height log, or bendable sappling.
