He said he was going to Alabama!
Actually, he didn't, but what he did say does not look good for the Tigers.
*************************************************
"The visit went well," said Beckwith. "It went great. I got there Friday. The coaches were waiting on us. We then went to dinner. I went out with my host that night, HaHa [Clinton-Dix]. That was fun.
*************************************************
Beckwith has a long-standing relationship with the Alabama coaches. He enjoyed reconnecting with them on campus.
*************************************************
"I talk to the coaches every week," he said. "We talked about a lot of things other than football. They just told me to make the best decision for myself and to pray on it. They told me to look at everything to make sure I do what is best for me.
*************************************************
"I get to talk to the coaches all the time, so getting to know the players more and hang out with them was the best part of my trip," Beckwith said. "Those are the guys I would be spending the next four years with. I hung out with HaHa and Jeff Pagan. We were just chilling. Those guys are laid back. Those are the type of guys I llke to be around."
*************************************************
"Alabama just feels like home," he said. "I know how they do everything there. They are very organized. I just love it up there. My parents and little brother went with me. They also love it up there.
*************************************************
Is he going to Ala or LSU? You make the call! However I wouldn't bet on the Tigers winning this one. This situation reminds me a lot of LC from last year, unfortunately.
Believe me, I hope I am wrong, but I doubt it!

Where did you see that info?

"Alabama just feels like home,"
This is the most troubling thing to me.
The other stuff...get along great with the coaches, players are cool, like how they do things, coaches told me to think about it and pray, etc...that is the usual recruit talk that every recruit says.
The other thing is different.

After reading those comments it sounds like another Landon Collins situation for the Tigers. The kid doesn't want to admit he is going to Bama until he has to so it lessens the negativity toward him and his family.
I feel like if he was going to LSU he would have already said it.

If he goes to Bama we lose out on a good player, but honestly if any Louisiana kid wants to go to Bama then bye don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out. I would love for him to be a Tiger, but if he wants to be an elephant, then I no longer give a shite about him. It'd be nice to see him in P&G though.

I understand what you say about sounding like L.C. last yr, BUT, Bama fans have no where near the confidence we get Beckwith, most expect him him to go to LSU. With L.C., we were always confident because of his pvt commitment at Jr day.
