am I the only one not smoking crack? TAMU being in Texas HELPS LSU recruit in Texas.
1) More visibility
2) For those of you who don't know how it works in that state it's Texas or TAMU and if your parents went to one of the two schools it's not very likely that you will end up at the other (unless of course you're inept Texas and offer Johnny fricking Football as a safety) we root for our rivals to make our SOS look stronger... Texas fans rooted for TAMU (and OU) to lose every game, they don't give a shite about SOS. If Texas keeps fricking up their recruiting and a life long Longhorns fan is offered by both TAMU and LSU, I generally like our chances.

frick, mobile version, allow me to continue my tiger rant.

That way they at least have the chance to beat up on a team they were raised to hate and think is inferior. Granted, there are always exceptions with recruiting, (cue a certain mad mama from Nola after a son commits to bamalandteam.)

I don't think it affects it one way or the other frankly.

It looks like LSU won't get any commits from Texas this year, but we are supposedly in good shape with several big Texas recruits in 2014. There are plenty of good recruits in Texas to go around.
