Numerous test have shown that the size of the bullet and velocity make no difference in brush busting. In fact, if anything, the bigger and slower it is, the more it is affected. In one test the 45/70 fared the worst of anything, including things like the .243.

Not in my vast experience. And I'm twice the hunter all Myth Buster is.
