I actually find classic rock still gets the most love on this board which makes the most amount of sense. But hardcore music fans tend to skew indie/alternative because those bands are more likely to be pushing boundaries and doing something different. Kind of fighting the whole "I've heard it all before" disease that we all can get.

But as others have pointed out, there's not much to gain by saying "the Beatles are great" and then having 10 replies of "Yeah." We all know the Beatles are great.
