The thing is that Schalke is level with Montpelier right now. Arsenal could have won its group with a win. Terrible managerial move Wenger. I'm sorry that your top players are "fatigued," you're now facing a draw with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, or Dortmund

little do arsenal fans know, it was his plan all along to finish 2nd in the group.

how else will he have a surefire excuse for getting knocked out in the first knockout round?

Yeah, Arsenal still having a chance to finish 1st in the group means they should have gone for the win. But after seeing the side he fielded I didn't get my hopes up for the Schalke/Montpellier match. It was disappointing seeing Schalke drop points with the side Wenger chose, but at that point I had already tossed aside the shoulda coulda woulda's.

It truly will be scary facing: PSG, Malaga, BVB, Bayern, Barca, ManU
