First, we have to agree on a definition for negatiger. I don't think we should include any fan who is negative about a play or a game or even coach Miles. A negatiger is someone who is negative all the time and firmly believes that only through the expression of negativism can we expect to see improvement. A negatiger justifies his/her negativism as an expression of their passion for LSU and their desire to see it get better, but they are never satisfied. By nature, they will never be satisfied. There may be only a few true negatigers, but they dominate message boards because they see the expression of their negativity as a cause. This is not much different from any internet message borad. They tend to be dominated by negative thinkers. The rest of us are forced to tolerate them to try to have a rational discussion.
