LSU has more quality wins than Clemson does; and is the better team this season just by comparing records. But by comparison LSU struggled with Auburn, Towson, Ole Miss, and Ark. LSU beat USC and Clemson lost to them, but in both games they were fairly close and the team that lost could have won, you could argue I guess.
LSU should win, and has a superior D and overall team, but it all depends which LSU team shows up and how they match up with Clemson. If Clemson is able to move the ball like Ole Miss did, or if Clemson can stop the LSU offense like Ark did it may well be a close game.

All I ask of Coach Miles this one game, is to break it off in them for 4 QTRS and do not let up until the game clock ticks 0. Then we can see how loud Clemson really can be.

The LSU/USCe game really wasn't fairly close.
