I'm a generally positive guy, but we are getting raped by the SEC here, and it's been the routine for the past 20 years. I'm sick of it. Whenever LSU is in a "tie", we routinely get sent to the worst bowl possible.

The 1989 Sugar Bowl agrees with you. We beat Auburn head-to-head, but the end up in the SB to represent as SEC Champs while LSU gets sent to the HOF Bowl and lays an egg against Syracuse.

Agree. Hope the weather is cold here in LA because I will be at our camp watching this game with, hopefully, a got cauldron of duck and sausage gumbo on the stove and a big fire in the fireplace.

We said a lot of this from '89 to '94, except back then there were very less smiles.
I'd rather play Clemson in the Chicken Bowl than play Northern Illinois in the Orange Bowl. That latter is a lose-lose situation, but win the former and you finish in the Top Five.
