Im sorry but programs who are consistantly one way or the other are like that for a while. UT wont be back to power in just one year and same thing with UK.
Right, like Auburn.

But you never really know for sure what will be favorable when schedules are made. UGA may suck, UT may be great next year.
Unlikely, though possible the issue isnt UT vs UGA. Its USC vs Mizzou (was there any thought that USC wouldnt be >>>>>>>than Mizzou?) and UGA vs UK. Did anyone think Mizzou would be THAT bad? I didnt. However there ought to be some turnabout the next year when its hand picked schedules and not a formal rotation.
I can deal with a permanent opponent UF vs UT. Its when hand picked "bridge" schedules make the "rotating" non divisional so disparate 2 years in a row.

I don't know for sure UGA will be that good however.
They'll be better than TN with Murray, Marshall and Gurley. All 3 of those guys are really good.
TN will have Bray, I think, Cordarelle Patterson. Honestly, those are the only two names I can think of. Will Hunter be there? Seems like he's been there a while.

is Murray a lock to stay?

He's a midget who never wins big games so he should.

I agree on the surface it doesn't appear equitable, but it's better judged on the other side of the schedule than this one, IMO.

I don't know if he's a lock but I did read some stuff that insinuated he'd be there next season.

Is Murray back next year? I wouldn't think so.

UT was close to being a good team this year. They were competitive, just couldn't win the close ones. With the right coach, they will be a force in the conference.

I betcha he is gone. Really no reason for him to come back. He's been starting at UGA since Sherman marched through the latter part of the civil war.

Thankfully a&m is in the league to at least challenge Bama in the west.. otherwise we would literally be their only opponent next season.

To actually win something? To drop the label of a choker and increase his draft stock somewhat? Undersized QB like him better bring the right intangibles and he hasn't shown them so far.

I read some stuff that had a lot of signs pointing to him staying.
I wouldn't be shocked if he did.
They aren't going to turn around in a heartbeat, even with the right coach. They're not going to sit a 2+ year starter in Bray, when he won the job from Simms, even in the off chance they find some Cam Newton-like player.
Back to the point, the schedules aren't anywhere near being fair.

Murray will most probably leave after seeing Barkley's blunder. IF he does UGA might not as good as this year. People here talk as if UGA was an unstoppeable juggernaut this year. All they had going for them was a favorable schedule and they got run over by Bama - a team built very similar to LSU.

Who knows those things, but I'm thinking Tenn is gonna never, on a regular basis, be the Tenn of old again.
With the HS talent in that state, they gonna have a tough hill to climb.

He had his best shot this year, it's a huge risk coming back for a draft stock that probably will not improve much. He's ranked in the top five QB's available for the draft right now. Some have him ahead of Tyler Wilson

Who stayed for his senior year.

4 of their losses were possible wins this year.

They have Georgia to draw out of, like they always have. They have talent now, just didn't know how to win when they had the chances.

The next best thing to a round robin(impossibility) would have been to do away with this permanent rival BS and go to 9 conference games where 3 teams from the other division are rotated cyclically. That would have cut down this huge disparity in quality/ease between Bama and LSU in the near future. But I dont buy this conspiracy by SEC office to give Bama an easy schedule. They just lucked out.
