Care to elaborate? I don't think so. You can't tell me Brees didn't look like he was pressing. It's like he was trying to atone for those pick 6s with every single pass. But instead he forced balls all game. Carmichael is also to blame here. As soon as the run game starts slowing down, he immediately goes to shotgun and all passing. The most frustrating thing is still trying to PA off of a non-existent run game.
So yes, I think it's a valid excuse.

i agree. we started running the ball successfully and then we go 5 wide balls to the wall....5 ints....shite we lost
