What's the cleaning and storing method you use? Soap and water to clean....no dish washer right? Do you oil it after a use or just let it dry and put it up?

HOT water if no food is sticking...then dry it on burner, then put balled up newspaper in it to absorb the rest of the moisture (if any) and to absorb the food smell (if any) and put in cabinet for later use. If the pot sits for a long time, lightly rub EVOO in it, then newspapers, then cabinet.

No soap!

Hot water and a non-metal cleaning pad, dry, then oil it up for storage.

I have an 8" lodge skillet (like $12 on Amazon) that I use all the damn time. I have a few bigger ones but that one gets 90% of the use.

Along with Wallymart, Academy Sports will have a nice selection too.

No soap is what I remember, but I could be wrong.

I have only had mine a short while but I don't use soap. I just scrub it well and then spray it with oil and wipe it down with a paper towel before storing.
