I've gone as far as calling Anniston Army Depot and the guys (LSU folks as well) who keep track of all that equipment that's out in front of the various American Legion/VFW/Army Reserve Centers/National Guard Armories/Army Museums, etc.....

Shermans aren't that easy to get hold of (for free)...there's a nice EZ-8 model with the 76mm gun and muzzle brake at Ft AP Hill....

one of the cadre members who served in the Iraq invasion found an intact Sherman in pretty good condition...it got shipped back and disappeared off of his radar....
