I'm thinking there are at least 2-3 losses over the Miles tenure that have potentially costs either a title or a shot at a title.

This reminds me of 2002 Arkansas game when Saban settled for a field goal and then allowed back to back hail mary passes to cost us a trip to Atlanta.

This is what frustrates me and most fans in my opinion.

What frustrates me is that people don't realize that it happens to every coach, even the best ones. I'll give you two other Saban games: 2003 Florida (easily could have cost LSU the title)and 2004 Auburn(cost LSU a trip to Atlanta).

Saban was a great coach at LSU, but even he had some tough ones. It happens to all of them, but people have short memories.

and 2004 Auburn

Ridiculous over the back penalty on extra point that was never before or will never again be called!

Not taking up for Saban but their is a big difference between settling for a field goal and trying a fake field goal with 12 yards to go. Also trying a 54 yard field goal when your pk best is from 45 yards out.

I am not blaming Les for Bama's comeback score (although I do think the defense played to soft).
But the above referenced calls were really no brainers. You are going to have an occasional hail mary pass beat you---don't beat yourself with risks that have 5% chance of working especially when you are winning the line of scrimmage.

IMO we would benefit from a good offensive coordinator. Les is our coach and I support him 100%. He has proven to not be the best game day coach.
