I'm pissed that the administration is lazy and will seemingly always be a good ole boy network. There's no excuse for us to not try and say its because of market when La Tech got in. We have competitive football, basketball, and baseball. The Cajundome is a great venue for college basketball. We have an indoor practice facility. We have RCAF; we pay Hud more than $800,000. There's oil money everywhere. We were supposed to have a master plan released a month ago but of course they pushed that back until January or February.
If we were aggressive, I bet we would be on the short list. Instead, Farmer probably just calls and then immediately hangs up.
Another thing, this morning 103.7 (new station) had on Hud and Karl Benson. 1420 was talking about pancakes at Lucky Deuces for like 2 hours then went on to NFL concussions. No mention of this at all.

The people on 1420 don't want any sort of change, because if more money starts coming in to the program and more eyes are on the ULL's athletic dept, more people will realize how substandard their flagship radio station is and start looking to replace things.
More money comes with higher standards, and there are too many people around the program that are afraid that higher standards means they're out of a job.
