I can vouch for the basic lever action Henry as well. I got one as my 16 bday present. I prefer the semi auto to the lever action, but I shoot it quite a bit as well. I had trouble breaking mine in with federal shells. Almost every other one would get hung up in the chamber and I'd have to dig it out. After a few hundred rounds it was not an issue anymore. Now it's smoother than glass.
