Should pts be a separate statistic?
Since it has such a low coefficient, this primarily tracks players' performances outside of points, so adding them in doesn't make sense.

Well, my reasoning behind making the rating in the first place was to try and capture all the statistics into one rating. Because its coefficient is only 1 it would be very easy to deduct from an unadjusted SoS if you find that number more interesting, but I think its an intricate and important part of the rating.
