Seton Hall has 3 guys from Canarias on their team, though it's tough to know if they all played together there. But Hammink and Mayaan are both Freshmen, so it's a pretty good bet they did.
ETA: 4 guys from Canarias. A Frosh, soph, and 2 jrs.
I had no idea. That's pretty neat. I think Hammink starts because they have length that he will need to be guarding. Hope he plays extra hard against some old teammates.

Yeah, and all 5 guys from Canarias are from different countries. Israel, Czech Rep, Netherlands, Latvia, and UK.
If the Canarias connection isn't at least acknowledged on the broadcast tonight, ESPN research dept isn't doing their jobs. This is a tailor made nugget for the guys calling the game.
