Not trying to rain on your parade or anything but for the money Waka is a MUCH better festival than Bonnaroo.

Although admittedly Waka is pretty much my paradise and I am a self admitted waka fanboy so I may be biased but waka and Wanee are two festivals I just don't miss. It all depends on the lineup with roo. Its hit or miss. In my opinion a great fest should be great even with a mediocre lineup and in my experience waka has that and roo doesn't. Waka feels like a celebration of life and the roo feels like just another concert to me.

Although I'm sure people feel the exact opposite as I do and I'm not knocking that. Just giving my opinion

Just a little bit of bias in your opinion lol.. but seriously Waka is a fest I definitely plan on going to, I have friends who have been and they say its the best they've been to. But Roo is special to me because it was the first festival I ever went to, and not only that, but it was the first time I've ever been to a concert in my life.

When people ask the best part about festivals you summed it up perfectly in one of your earlier posts, its the perfect escape from "real life" for a few days.

I can definitely understand that. I've only been to Bonnaroo once and I really wasn't too impressed, dont get me wrong I saw a lot of cool bands and had a good time it just didn't hold up to the other festivals I go to every year. Roo is one of those things that I did, I'm glad I did it, I had fun doing it but I do t really have a desire to do it again. Unless they pull out a fire arse lineup of course
