I need to know what is a great pair of hunting boots that can really keep your feet warm. I wear a pair of Magellan and man my feet got cold even with 2 pair of socks..

Oversize boots with dress socks and wool socks.
Your feet may be getting cold because the two pairs of socks are making them too tight. Tight boots are always super cold.

I had a pair of Muck Boots that were really warm. They were the grey ones. I can't remember the name off the top of my head. I quit wearing them though because my feet don't really get that cold ever so I bought some Lacrosse Alpha Lite's that are lighter and more comfortable.

Muck or Lacrosse. I have a pair of Lacrosse Alpha 800 gram insulation, and they're almost too warm. Wish I would've gone with the mucks

Are those insulated?
I wouldn't know what an insulated boot would look like. My guess I would say "No"

It's not the brand so much as the grams of insulation. I have some boots with 1200 grams and my feet don't get cold.

My feet gets cold fairly easy, not sure if it has anything to do with having diabetes or not.
The Lacrosse might be what I need..

The grams come with a price tag but they're worth it.

Thanks man, I will look into it.

I have the LaCrosse Burly 1200g. I typically only wear them when it gets really cold for Louisiana. I have the regular lacrosse ankle grips for wet conditions, and some 1200g hiking boots for hilly stuff. I wear my regular everyday boots sometimes if they don't stink.
All of the lacrosse boots are reliable. The only drawback is that they are loud if you forget to tighten the top straps

The only drawback with highly insulated boots is how bulky they get.

This, and your feet will sweat if you walk very much. I'd rather have dry feet in a less insulated boot than damp feet in a 1200 gram boot.

Guess I'm a little partial to Muck since I sell them. But Muck offers a wide range of insulation levels. The Arctic Sport and the Woody Max offer the highest insulation factors. The Woody has an orange turndown feature, and are camoflouged. The Arctic Sports are black. Fine boots though, I duck hunt faithfully, and there are nothing like comfortable toes. Dont know if i'm vioilating td rules, but we are allowed to sell below map pricing through tommorow. Black Monday thing. Growersupply

I have the lightest Muck Boots, and never get my feet cold. Wear merino wool socks too.

I have the Muck Snake Boots. Best boots I've ever owned. For some reason they are safe against Stingrays as well. Yea I know... I had to re-read that line in the book as well, never know when ur gonna run across a phantom stingray in the woods. Lulz
