I like this team. The newcomers are legit. I'm beginning to think this team may surprise everyone and make the NCAA tourney.

Our rotation at guard is outstanding. Tuba is more valuable to this team than Ludwig, which is scary. Shavin Coleman is instantly one of my favorite players. He hustles his arse off on defense and on the boards.

If JOBIII can stay healthy, I think we're fine with Coleman at 4. Hickey is ballin' outta control right now, and I love Carmouche too. Morgan and Hammink are both solid players. Could see either going for 20 points on a given night. Hammink is a typical Euro. Very unselfish. Heady player.

is it fair to say at this point, Hammink has way more upside than his father? Geert didn't contribute much until he was a Jr/Sr. Shane is already getting meaningful minutes. Granted, Geert played on a much better team than this one.

Woah, woah, woah. Pump the brakes a little. This team has certainly looked better than some of the previous year's groups, but they've played some pretty bad competition to start. While Seton Hall is probably a mid-tier Big East team (at best), they do represent a bump up in competition and should serve as somewhat of a baraometer as to where this team is early on. The next measuring stick will be the 3 game Mid-December road swing. I still don't think this team will be able to do a whole lot in SEC play (just don't have the size and numbers yet), but I'm excited to see how they look Thursday and will be there with my hotdog and coke ready to go!!!
