Every playcall is an adjustment to what the other team is doing, every audible is an adjustment to how the defense or offense is lined up, every substitution is an adjustment to the personnel the other team has on the field.... Get a clue. Every snap is an adjustment. Or should be. It's those little attentions to detail that win ball games. I am not talking simply about halftime, & going into the locker room and drawing on some chalk board. I don't give a shite what brent musberger says to start the 3rd Q "oh lets see the adjustments!!!!"

LOL...you want ME to get a clue? Dude...I AM your clue!!

So what are you talking about? Audibles, situational personell substitutions? What are those...magic? Mysterious? It ain't rocket science man. Everyone does the same things. Like I've said, this type of stuff is done pregame. "If they do this, audible to that". "If they give us this look, we run this". "If they bring in these guys we are going to this package". This is simple stuff man. Are you really one of those guys that doesn't give CLM and his staff even the credit for this simple level of proficiency?

If you think that Chavis, Kragthorpe, Stud, Miles are being outsmarted by all these other coaches...that the other coaches are inventing some special stuff that they have never seen...well then I just don't know what to tell you.

Coaching is the biggest copycat business there is. Anytime someone invents something, its on tape a week later and if its worthwhile its copied by every other coach.

Football today is as transparent a thing that there is, there are no secrets. Saban doesn't have some special scheme that no other coach can figure out. All they have to do is watch a little film and copy it. How hard do you think that is? It ain't the scheme man. It aint the plays you call.

Its what players you recruit to run those schemes and how you coach those players to perform those schemes.

Thats what I meant in my comments about Lombardi and the Bear. They didn't beat you with schemes...they beat you with pregame coaching!!

Here's what you seem to be missing. Other coaches know exactly what Miles will do, because he is either stubborn or naive. He sticks to his tendencies and dares them to beat him

Well, Saban does. He changed his offense and stroked Miles in Jan, and then baited Les into a prevent defense in the last game. Even the Towson coach said he know what LSU was going to do.

Miles wins on talent. He is often outcoached, even when he wins
