California is one of the hardest schools to coach at. They're broke, completely broke. Having to compete with USC, Oregon, Washington, now Stanford, is extremely difficult. I think Tedford is a great coach. Would I want him at Alabama? Probably not. But he has a chance to be great if given a real chance

I don't know about great, but I bet he could produce a consistent, cleanly run program that had a good graduation rate.

Not many SEC titles, but 8-10 win seasons would be the norm if he had the right players and right admin support.

I agree with you. I think he is a very solid coach. With good resources I think he could be top tier.

Washington has been mediocre during Tedford's entire tenure and Stanford's only risen up the last few years. Cal's had a boatload of talent and he had less than 3 losses in just two seasons.
