Moo State is ranked in one poll, by default really.

Everyone is dissecting A&M's victories, but let's look at TCU's wins.

OOC wins against Grambling, UVA (4-7) and a nail bitter 6 pt win against lowly SMU (5-6) who was beaten badly by Baylor and A&M.

Conference wins against Kansas, Baylor, WVU and Texas. The only wins they have over teams headed to Bowl games are Texas and WVU. WVU has lost 5 in a row and we know how Texas has played this year.

They're not exactly world beaters, and needed a ton of help from Texas and WVU to pull off victories in those two games. To say TCU is going to challenge for the Big XII title next year is foolish, IMO.

You can throw out everything from that SMU game since it was played in a torrential downpour the entire game. No one could pass because no one could throw or see the ball when it was thrown.

Holders couldn't hold onto field goal snaps for both teams. It was an ugly game on both sides. I know because I had TCU -7.5 and under in a teaser that day.

And I think the Frogs will compete in the Big 12 next year and for years to come because they only lose one defensive starter and 2 offensive starters for next year, and the fact that 70% of the starters are freshman, that means 70% of the team's starters could still be in tact for the next 2-3 years. And that doesn't count the players they are getting back from grades and transfers.

This year even with a young squad they have been in every game until the end except Kansas State. And I think they end up winning all but the K-State game with Pachall at QB.
