My first real memory of being engaged in watching a game was the 1972 Astro/Bluebonnet Bowl vs. Tennessee. Bert Jones vs. Condridge Holloway. We lost 24-17 and Holloway outplayed Jones.
First game attended was Rice in 1973 and I was hooked from that day on. Made my Dad stay to the last play and he hated traffic so it was quite a sacrafice for him.

My first game was in 2001. So then I guess. I was like 9 or 10
