Recent Technical Problem

I'm not very computer literate and have lurked here since 07. Here recently while i'm reading on TD, my laptop gets slow and them i get a box that says "do you want to kill the pages, pages not responding". Then i get "if this happens to you often, you may want to change your handle and start new"?. I never had trouble before here on TD until about two weeks ago. It's been pretty frequent since....
