I'm 35 and I guess that's ancient on a college football message board.

I always get labeled as old or accussed of having a stick up my arse in these threads, but nothing could be farther from the truth. It's just that people like you and I have thought the situation out and realized it's one of the stupidest "causes" the students can fight for.

Back when I was a student we were fighting to keep our ticket allotment from shrinking and the main argument was that it's a sport for the university which is supposed to be for the students. That didn't stop the admin from reducing the number of student tickets 2 times before I graduated.

So I also warn the kids that support the profanity that the admin can and will reduce the student ticket allotment if they feel like it. Don't give them a legit reason to do it.
