I don't think a coach being affiliated with a school in a bowl will have much impact. When Nutt left us, he was out the door before our bowl game with Mizzou.
Then again, I'm sure there are gentleman's agreements in place which may override anything I've said
. Arkansas has been looking since April, so I'm not too worried we'll rush in and make the wrong hire - especially because fans are impatient.
ETA: Although it appears to be inevitable, Auburn hasn't even fired Chiz. I don't think they're at risk at this time for making a premature hire either.
