How serious do S La. teams take strength and conditioning?

I know most of the programs in N La that have been mentioned have great strength and conditioning programs. I wonder if that could be the difference?

I think this is the most improtant factor. It is a big deal in North LA. I wonder how they handle the summer workouts down there as well? Im not sure the players buy in as much. There is just not much else to do here in the North.

can't answer for all schools but I know at my kid's school it's take pretty friggin serious for football and baseball.. in fact I think one of the coaches wrote a book on it...

as for the other sports - no idea.....

I know at 3 schools in BR area that are still playing it is taken pretty seriously..

and at Curtis it is akin to religion...
