re: Duck hunting from the bank and retrieving ducks in deep water

I used to shoot woodies on my dad's pond. It wasn't too much of a hassle to hang them with a spinner bait and reel them in. I guess it depends on how far of a cast you would have to make. For me it was never more than about 20 yards.
