Yeah I'm pretty sure the baja claws are directional. If you're cool with that they handle mud like a champ, but I don't see them being too good on the road.
Trail grapplers sound like your best bet honestly. Decent tire, decent price, and a long tread life.

The mt claws and whatever that all terrain version is, are directional, very soft compound. I had 35" had to rotate about 1 time at lease every month and they still got all out of wack with regualar road use. Liked the tire, hated the wear and road life
