Since my last stupid question might not have been so stupid, let me try again.

I thought sports gambling was illegal outside of certain states. Is sports gambling similar to online poker? Are there any ramifications if you get caught?

5 Dimes seems to be the pick of the board. How do payouts work with them? Is there a minimum on what it takes to open an account?

Thinking about throwing a couple hundred in since I have learned you can bet with as little as $1.25. Just trying to get some info.

I'm pretty sure it's legal because the sites are located on offshore islands or something like that

i've been with 5dimes for at least 3 seasons now and have cashed out every season. i would say i've cashed out about 6-7 times total and the only problem i ever had was the first one when i tried to do a bank draft.. never ever do that because the funds get sent to a 3rd party to distribute to the banks and this time the 3rd party ran off with the money.. so many ppl were waiting on money for months
but 5dimes funded the account back once they realized that they were had.
but ever since then i have done money gram withdrawls and its so easy its awesome.
once a month you get a free withdrawl but after that its 20 bucks. but cash in hand and no trail makes me

Depends how disciplined you are, but I might suggest starting off with a little less, like $50-$100. I consider myself a pretty rational person but I was a total idiot and complete degen when I first started betting: betting on teams I knew nothing about just because someone said they were good, wagering very different units, chasing losses by betting more and doing stupid parlays.

I highly recommend starting with small bets and finding a system that suits you. For me, it's been tailing RAS in CBB, picking my spots in the NBA (usually home favs against bad teams who played the night before), and dogs in CFB. Seven is my limit to plays in a day and all bets in the same unit.

It took me losing hundreds and seeing my account shrink to about $8 for me to get my shite together. I took a few weeks off and have stuck to a system ever since. After two and a half solid weeks, gotten it to over $140 now (thanks in large part to RAS and a couple perfect Saturdays). By necessity, my unit was $2, but it's $5 now and will probably move up to $10 pretty soon.

Hopefully you can be smart and avoid the losing your arse part of my story
