Gonna be watching on my laptop in the middle of my ChemE class. If and when we score I may be asked to leave the class

Gonna need someone to post a non Espn link around game time

what kind of mid field do you think that is? danny back on the wing? i really dont care for him much there, but we dont exactly have wing depth. god damn it im excited to finally watch gatt play. hopefully jozy is pissed and carries half of that club form over. hopefully jurgy has pushed the right buttons on him and his previous snubs turn him into a better, more determined player. i'm hoping for t boyd, gyau and mixx to sub on. those seem pretty reasonable, possibly mo edu if we get a lead in the second half. i hope jermaine junior plays well, he will definitely bring the intensity. bradley should shine, hopefully he provides nice service to jozy

Well its a friendly so we should see all of those subs plus some more maybe..
I hope it's a midfield triangle with Bradley in the up role (kinda dempsey's old spot) allowing him some creative flexibility

I think it will more of a 4-2-3-1 in attack with Bradley moving forward, and a the two Germericans providing the base.
No Gyau on the bench, which is disappointing. Although hopefully we get to see Boyd and it'll be nice to El Chosen Juan Agudelo back in the fold.

i think i like this, would you use herc or jozy on the other wing? herc has played there for us before, right? but i think jozy plays on the wing for AZ sometimes, i'm not really sure though. i have some sliver of hope for this game, but not trying to get too worked up over a 2 goal loss

In that situation Jozy moves up top as the traditional CF and Herc and Gatt remain your wingers.
I'm never really that anxious about friendlies. Klinsmann values them a great deal more than Bob Bradley ever did. If we beat quality sides in friendlies, it's good for media fodder. If we lose, nobody really says much. I'd much prefer us to play attractive football and win convincingly against Costa Rica on the road in February, than this Russia game.

What a glorious stache. Alexi Lalas, a true American hero.

I'm guessing Gatt is left and Herc on the right? but yeah that's basically what I'm thinking
--williams-jones--
------Bradley-----
Herc----------Gatt
-------Jozy-------
ETA: and now I have to avoid the soccer board for the next 3 hours of work ><

Really excited to see Gatt play. Last time I watched him play was against other high schoolers in Michigan. It's going to be very weird to watch him out there with all these other professionals. Hopefully he represents my hometown/high school well.

What's the O/U on when Jones gets his first yellow? 35th minute?
Posted on 11/14/12 at 9:01 am to pvilleguru
Well it is a friendly, and the refs are a little more lenient.. so lets say 55th minute.

Gatt should have ran out of the tunnel yelling, "Wolverines!"
