Why do they use sideline markers?

Bama NEVER has a measurement. They ALWAYS get the spot.

They don't need markers, refs already paid for. They can even have a defensive player body-slam an opponent and not even have a call against them. Can also never have an offensive hole called, ask LSU and others.

They give the refs a reference of where to spot the ball. Short of the marker for bamas opponent right on it for bama.
