Preferably a place with good Bar food and not too crowded. Wife recently tore her Achilles and is on crutches. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunitely, all will be crowded since Sat. night game like Bayou Beer Garden, Hooters usually has big screen and could sit if early enough. Good luck!

Hyatt is pretty cool too. I like Walk ons, but super crowded for you.

I watched a game at Bubba Gumps...I had a good time.

The not crowded part is going to be tough at 7:00 on a Saturday night.
The Ruth's Chris suggestion was good. The bar area is roomy.
Right near there is Gordon Biersch, which isn't a bad bar area.
Another good idea might be the upscale sports bar like place at the Hyatt Hotel. Call and see if you can get reservation for a little booth or something.

ever heard of giving your wife a break and watching the game at home?

Bayou Beer Garden and Bulldog and Cooter Brown's can be really fun, but they often get pretty crowded. If you get there early, you should be able to find a place to sit.
Some pretty good suggestions so far on this thread.
I think Gordon Biersch and Ruth's Chris or anywhere on Fulton Street are great options as well.

Thanks everyone we talked to the good people at Cooters and they are gonna take care of our needs.
This whole weekend is a treat for my wife who has been stuck in our house for the past 10 weeks dealing with her recovery. She loves New Orleans and wanted to come as soon as she felt better.
We are spending the afternoon at the spa in the Roosevelt hotel. Staying at a fine hotel eating in some great restaurants and going to The Saints game on Sunday. All her choice.
We'll be at Cooters on Saturday come say hello I'm the one with Irish accent and wife on crutches.
Thx again for the suggestions. Geaux Tigers.
