Taylor's situation is a different kind of strange. Everyone that should have knowledge of the situation from LSU's side says that he will not be in the class but yet everything from Taylor's side says he's a commitment. Don't know how that works unless someone on either side is just being dishonest or is confused as hell.
I'm one that wishes he could be a part of the class. I think he fits our style and is similar to the backs we have and could be effective at LSU. Plus I just like the kid. Maybe the numbers will work out to where he can get in. No one seems to be predicting a full 29 at this point so maybe the room and the want to take him will be there.

i think, due to the 29 we can take in this class, taylor will be here....he is very talented and is having a hell of a season (the only reason people cooled on him was a knee injury). so unless we have an absolute unheard of haul for our last 4 or 5 commits, he will have a spot
eta: his stats and highlights from this year show me his knee is just fine

Agree Redfield. I just don't see how our staff can say no to a kid that fits our style so well, is as talented as he is, with our need at the position in the future and that wants to be at LSU so bad. Based on what we are told by the guys that should know, it isn't happening.

I think they want Fournette even to hold off on him.

What's the story with Foster? Is he someone we are slow playing, is it because we are good with our LBers or is he just not that interested in us.
Recent interview with RF about two weeks ago said he is 110% Auburn. He and a couple of others are trying to keep the recruiting class together so he may stay put. We will see if Cheez Wiz get fired.

There will be one or two decommitments before signing day from the current list
rumor on the recruiting board last week was 2-3 academic casualties on current list...FWIW

I think any chance of Adam Taylor will hinge on whether Ware or Ford might leave early
That could free up a spot
RB is still loaded though
Hill, Hilliard, Blue, Magee

re. taylor. talked to someone YESTERDAY that has a kid on the Katy football team. the parent told me that taylor to LSU was DEAD. he is not coming here. currently looking at nebraska and wisconsin as a better fit for his running style and a better depth chart.

damn, best of luck to the kid

Thanks Hollins. Good luck to the kid. No matter what is said, if we wanted Taylor, he would be a Tiger. Too bad it didn't work out. Either of those 2 schools would be good fits for him.
