He had 1 year at UT (not really a time to judge) and he didn't lay waste...that ship was freakin' sinking with Fulmer after Lane got there.
Some of you people make shite up out of contempt and because he left.
He made UT at least competitive that year (Bama) -
Regardless...this is his FIRST JOB you can properly evaluate him...which TO ANSWER THE QUESTION...
is why he got the UT job and USC job. Raiders job couldn't evaluate with Davis and UT was a one-year poof and gone...just getting to know you.
