I'm bringing several friends to the LSU-Miss St. game on Saturday and wanted to get some advice as to when to arrive in Baton Rouge... We do not have a parking pass. This is the first time these guys will be at an SEC game let alone a Tiger Game!

Trying to provide the ultimate experience...

Thanks

We'll be arriving around 0700 - which is normal for us. Parking starts filling around 0900 and choice parking is hard to come by. It won't be nearly as bad as this past weekend (we were there on Friday and still some folks tailgated on top of us).

a) get into time machine;

b) go back one week;

c) have a great time!

Seriously, there are lots of spots to go without a pass...we park at Kirby Smith for free or by the Union for $40/game if we want to be on Parade Grounds.

Check out LSU's tailgating policies.. Also has links to parking areas. Most areas won't allow arrival til 5 pm Friday, although other folks may know different. Outside of an Alabama game, you can get pretty much anywhere if you get there before 9:00 on game day for a night game.

I come in from the west also and this is very easy to get back to I-10.

The lot at the ag center/Parker coliseum is pretty big and free. It's off highland and stadium. I would get there for 11 to ensure a spot, maybe earlier.
