Supposedly preexisting conditions won't be held against anyone.
Supposedly dependants can remain on their parents' policy until age 26 ... even if you have a job
You're going to pay a lot ... and more than likely get a little.
We have an individual policy that is NOT under Obamacare so they tell me YET. BCBS of LA. If we make certain changes to our policy then we fall under Obamacare.
I asked the BCBS rep what benefits would change if we were under Obamacare. Well, I would have gestational diabetes coverage (not more kids from us), IF I were to have a 4th child I would lactation counseling for free (yeah I got that in the hospital with child #2 and #3 prior to d/c)I would have testing and counseling for STDs (um happily married dont' need this either) AND I could get a FREE COLONSCOPY!! Oh joy ...
SO after hearing these wonderful things I asked well what's the drawback. Her words to me were "you're gonna have to pay more, more than likely". Pay more for shite I don't need???? No way.
Your future employers may not offer you coverage ... you will be at the mercy of the national plan or whatever the hell they come up with if they've even read the bill yet.
I'm pissed. We pay dearly for our policy ...
