If anyone is selling a shield that you know of, I am very interested in buying one. I cannot find one anywhere.

I bought one from Hebert's Guns on Monday. Got the call they had one and was there in 15 min to pick it up. Know this doesn't help, but I thought I'd share my happiness.

I try to tell everyone, the way I got mine so early was to call EVERY Academy from Baton Rouge to Covington (I live in Hammond) and ask when/if they would be getting one in. Then I went to the locations and talked to them, because some operators and employees didnt know what I was asking for.
Took a few weeks, but finally got a tip and was at Academy one morning when they opened at 8 and could have bought 3.

I agree with RA.
You just really need to call everywhere very early and try to get on a list.
It may take even longer now since there is so much firearms hysteria over the reelection and the shootings.

Easier. I only have one friend with a Shield 40.
And is anyone else having trouble getting Bud's to work? When I try to sign on, the link gives me some error message. Did the government just shut it down or something?
