I was there with my fellow Kappa Sigma fraternity brothers. We sat right above the tunnel when the Bear walked off the field in his last regular season football game. I took a picture with my Kodak Instamatic that I still have on my bulletin board today (in my attic of course). Almost as good as the 3-0 loss to Alabama in 1979 in Tiger Stadium.

One of the early TigerVision games. You had to live in BR to get it at the time. I didn't get it, but my cousin off of Siegen did, and he had a whole crowd drive up from St. James Parish to stand around a 20" TV and watch the game (and chip in for the TV fee). Not easy to forget, cause my dad had a heart attack on the drive back.

I listened on the radio. The 82 team was truly the first GREAT LSU team of my lifetime. Really came out of no where. the 81 team was a disaster but very young

I remember the words coming out of the radio to this day. Alabama can't gain a yard against this defense

It was shocking. Ppl think the Bama stuff today is awful, back then it was Bama first second third and fourth. And NO ONE stopped Bama's wishbone.....NO TEAM

until that LSU D totally destroyed the Bone, snapped that fricker in two

so many years of pain losing to them. I sat thru the 3-0 loss which was a dominating 3-0 tide win in the coldest rain I've ever been in

and that game did make Bear quit
