So I guess we should be happy with a shot in the foot loss to Alabama

there is a wide spectrum between "happy with a loss" and being a miserable frick...

Can you say honestly that yesterday we lost legitimately and did not shoot ourselves in the foot with that prevent defense after dominating the whole second half on defense and then conceding the Tide's winning TD by changing the D for that last possession?

I'm certainly not happy with the outcome, but I don't consider this a "shoot yourself in the foot" boneheaded choke-job. They called what they thought would win the game, it didn't work. For all of his strengths, Chief goes into protect mode late to decrease the chance of a long play and to cause the other team to have to burn up time with shorter plays. Should we fire him?

I'm sure you've been saying this for years, probably since early 2005. Miles has his faults, and I'm hoping that he fixes the OC situation at the end of the season. But you're exactly the type of fan that the Bammers were talking about when Saban got there...."Just let Saban beat them once or twice and the program will crumble from within"

Then you clearly don't know why you're unhappy at the loss.

Exactly my point. It was a "play to not lose" strategy that flew in the face of what LSU had been doing all half to keep Bama stifled (and blew up in the face of Chief when they marched down the field and scored anyway).

Don't be a ridiculous hysteric.

What are you, an amateur psychic. Hint: don't give up your day job.

I'm glad you're "hoping" because I'm sure that if he doesn't remedy this one situation and hire a legitimate OC - and give him the keys to the LSU offense-mobile, LSU's string of greatness is going to rapidly go downhill. And I'm going to venture a guess that you'll be among those jumping off the sunshine-pumping bandwagon first if that trend becomes more evident.

No, I think it's the type that live in denial of what they can plainly see in real gametime, like you. Personally, I couldn't care less what Bama fans have to say about LSU fans. I want them to hate us because we beat them regularly, and not accidentally.
