And the fact that when the humans die they make zombies, no matter how many zombies you kill, they'll be more and more.
EXCEPT in episode 3 you see that scientist say that zombies get weaker over time w/o any food. That means zombies in remote areas are dying.

Also, if life can be sustained like the governors little area, it only takes 9 months to make a new person. Unless its a freak accident, it will take 40-80 years for a person to die of natural causes and become a zombie. After even a few years you could start the re-growth pretty quickly

I forgot all about that. Definitely World War Z'ish. So they should spend a few years strengthening their group, gathering supplies, and then head to the Smokies.
