This year there is a good chance that there will be two undefeated teams outside of the SEC. ND basically just has to get past USCw. After this weekend, that looks entirely possible.
Kansas State basically has Oklahoma State and Texas to get past. Considering that they have already beat Oklahome and killed WVU and Texas Tech, that could easily happen.
Oregon has some tough games, but no top 10 opponents.
I'm thinking that USCw will play Oregon tough this weekend, but if they lose that game they will have 3 losses and may just mail it in the rest of the year, including the ND
If LSU beats Bama, the SEC's streak may end this year. Of course, they won't have lost a championship game, they will just have beat themselves out of one.
In any event, the odds of at least one non-SEC undefeated team are very high, so I don't see a repeat of last year.
