It is at times frustrating when healthy discourse devolves to silly name calling, silly categorizing, or reminders of our record suggesting critical discussion is precluded.

Living in NYC for the past ten years, I have come to rely on this board for my LSU fix. It's where I get that which I grew up on, LSU conversation--the kind of conversation where we celebrated together or debated the root cause(s) of a loss together. Yes, we understood we were not coaches, nor would the actual coaches ever contact us to get our thoughts but that passion for LSU ran deep and seemed to become a part of our genetic makeup. If our Tigers lost, we felt as though we had to understand the how's and why's. And boy did we disagree (sometimes vehemently), but we always talked though it nd listened to each other. And yes, even in victory we engaged in critical discussion. My LSU brethren are few and far between up here so i come here for that conversation. Yet, over the past few years, often, questioning of the staff or play calling quickly leads to negatiger this positiger that; or "post less"; or "root for someone else." Heck, even a member's post count has been grounds for dismissal of that person's opinion. With that said I come back again and again :)
