Apparently you misread the whole argument... I'm not arguing the effectiveness of the round on the intended target. I'm questions whether its a good idea to be firing such a round in close quarters in a residential situation
From the start I said it was simply too hot to in that scenario and would pass through perps, and sheet Rock alike. I never said it wouldn't kill someone. Problem is, it might kill my roomate in her bedroom through the walls.
That's why I pointed out the difference in firing it in the Kandahar province vs my living room

Your whole argument is based on penetration which is easily solved with the type of ammo you buy.
When you have your AR loaded for home defense use a hollow point. Problem solved.
