I think the issue here for me is that windows to win National Championships are small.. We had a team good enough to win one last year, and we would have a team that is capable of doing it this year if we had some resemblance of an offensive gameplan. The truth is, if we have a top 50-60 offensively ranked squad we could be looking at a possible repeat this year. I do not believe this is a player issue - we are as talent rich (outside of having a true #1 WR this year) on both sides of the ball as we've maybe ever been at LSU.

I am not happy w/the Off output myself, its been pitiful. But, being a fan looking on the bright side, losing 3 starting O linemen IS a big deal. No matter how well the back ups are doing, the starters started for a reason. Its hard to defend our lack of creativity or rythym w/playcalling. It seems so fragmented, like they pick random plays out of a raffle hopper up in the press box!

So did Bama.

This is so wrong. You can't be as talent rich as you ever have been when you lose 3 starting OL and your projected number one RB. Mett is not the Mettsiah everyone thought he was going to be. Jamarcus and Flynn were LIGHT YEARS ahead of where Mett is at right now. We also had what, like 3 first round WRs on one team? Buster Davis, Doucet, and Bowe? We are not even close to as talent rich as some of our other offensive teams in the past. Do we have talent? Yes. Do we have enough talent to win it all? Yes. But to say we have as much or more talent than we have ever had on offense is ignorant.
